Carbé and Durand are founding members of the acclaimed and longstanding “modern world guitar” group Incendio. In 2015, Liza Carbé and JP Durand started their duo as a platform for their more intimate, stripped-down compositions and unique arrangements of songs they love.

Since 1997, the pair has also made their mark as prolific producers—both for bands and for film and television. Their music has been featured in major shows including Law & Order, Breaking Bad, Burn Notice, and The Big Bang Theory, among many others.

Liza Carbé’s musical journey includes two years of touring with iconic Fleetwood Mac guitarist and producer Lindsey Buckingham, an experience that deeply influenced her guitar production style.

Their 2025 single, “Echoes in the Wind,” is a poignant showcase of the duo’s musical chemistry—blending empathetic interplay, intricate fretwork, and a shared melodic sensibility that has come to define their sound.

The Carbe’-Durand Latin guitar duo are part of the world music group Incendio. They fashion their original music (as well as popular songs by other artists) on two nylon string guitars. Their fiery approach to playing the Spanish guitar excites and invigorates audiences everywhere they perform. They mix Latin rhythms and romantic melodies with heart felt blues and rock energy.

Besides performing as the duo they have been performing for fifteen years with their group Incendio all over the U.S and beyond. Incendio has nine CD’s commercially available as well as multiple videos on their youtube channel and can be heard on numerous radio station all over the world.
